LAYNE & DEBBY LECHNER
The Lechners have worked at Warner Camp since September 2013. They were married in 1983 and have four children. Together they enjoy family time, music, and many outdoor activities. Layne is an avid sports fan while Debby enjoys knitting and reading. The Lechners look forward to witnessing all that God has in store for Warner Camp.
GARY & SUE BANNISTER
Gary & his wife Sue have served at Warner Camp since December 1999.
They have 2 grown sons (Tony & Toby), 2 daughter-in-laws (April & Janet) and 4 beautiful Grand Daughters (Lauren, Madison, Kate & Emily). Gary & Sue are both proud WMU alumni. They enjoy spending time with family and serving the Lord together here at Warner Camp.
Kelley and her family have been involved in Warner Camp for many years. In the fall of 2015 Kelley took the Communications Manger position. Kelley and Jim have been married since 1991 and have 4 children. (Nate, Kalyn, Trey & Madi). As a family they enjoy the outdoors, camping, and traveling. Kelley is an avid runner completing many half marathons each year.
Kay is a 2016 Graduate of Spring Arbor University with a Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministry.
Kay has been around Warner Camp her whole life. She was 6 months old when she attended her 1st Camp Meeting.
Kay has volunteered over the years in many areas and been on Summer Staff.
STEVE & DONNA WRIGHT
RV Park Managers
Steve & Donna Wright manage the RV park at Warner Camp. Steve helps the maintenance crew and they enjoy helping in other areas of the camp, as well. They spend winters in south Texas. They have five children and eight grand-children and retired from public schools in Michigan. Their passion is honoring God and serving people, and helping people get and stay healthy nutritionally and spiritually. “You are what you eat and you are what you believe”.
Mark joined Warner Camp in 2004. He is an integral member of our team, helping in several areas that include maintenance, housekeeping and cafeteria work. A Chicago native, Mark enjoys going to the movies, bowling and being outdoors.
Russ is a volunteer at Warner Camp and continues to work in maintenance where needed. Some of Russ’s projects in the past have been building the four cabins and the bridges at the cafeteria as well as helping on other major projects. Russ enjoys fixing things, carpentry, fishing and deer hunting.
Prayer Coordinator/ Retreat Hostess
Bev is a volunteer at Warner Camp. She is married to Russ and they have three daughters and one son, eight grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. She enjoys working in many areas at the camp, especially the prayer ministry. Russ and Bev enjoy going to Florida and doing volunteer work at Warner University. Bev says she has been blessed to see so many improvements and changes here at camp. Her hobbies are reading and working in the yard with her flowers.
